DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU, NEPAL

At any moment you may rrive at the airport in Kathmandu. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley. It is one of the nation’s political and economic centres, containing three main ancient towns of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. You will be greeted by one of the officials from our company on your arrival. He’s going to assist you transfer to your hotel. He will also tell you about additional schedules and programs. Day 02 - Kathmandu and Bhaktapur valley sightseeing Tour and a 1 hour drive to Nagarkot

Today you will visit different cultural and historical destinations mentioned on the Kathmandu and Bhaktapur Valley list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Starting with the Pashupatinath temple sightseeing trip, you’d be looking at one of the Hindu people’s most sacred temples. It has a lovely pagoda house and beside the holy Bagmati River you can also see the cremation ceremonies of the deceased. One of the biggest stupas ever constructed is the Bouddhanath Stupa. The stupa is decorated with a lot of prayer wheels and has a calm and peaceful atmosphere. You’d visit the temple of Changunarayan. The temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is one of the best and oldest temples in the architecture of pagoda style. Its place provides lovely views of the Kathmandu Valley, richly adorned with sculptures and carvings. You would then move to Bhaktapur and visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The fifty-five window palace, the Lion Gate, Bhaktapur’s Golden Gate and art galleries are great to watch and tour. You ride to Nagarkot later in the afternoon, which requires about an hour. From the Nagarkot viewpoint you can see the views of eastern Nepal’s mountain peaks, including Mount Everest, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal. Overnight stay at Nagarkot’s hotel.

Day 03 - Nagarkot – Chitwan, Duration: 7-8 hours driving

Day 04 - Full Day Jungle Activity at Chitwan National Park

You’d be touring the perimeters of the park today on an Elephant ride. A park jungle safari introduces you wandering through lovely woods and incredible views of bold trees and glimpses of distinctive wildlife. A canoe trip up the river Narayani, you’d have an incredible moment! You will also tour the Elephant Breeding Center by taking local boats to observe crocodiles along the shores of the river. You’d also be entertained with a Tharu Cultural Program later in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 05 - Chitwan – Lumbini, Duration: 5 hours driving

An early morning bird-watching tour can be done at the park today, as there is also a broad variance of avifauna in Chitwan National Park. After breakfast, you’d head to Lumbini, Lord Buddha’s birthplace. Lumbini, a World Heritage Site, is a worldwide Buddhist pilgrimage location. The Ashoka Pillar, built up by the Indian emperor Ashoka, is a famous landmark in Lumbini. In Lumbini you would also visit multiple monasteries and temples. The monasteries give magnificent sublimity in architecture and are the lovely stupas to look at. Overnight stay at the hotel, breakfast included.

Day 06 - Sight-seeing at Lumbini and then a 3 hours’ drive to Palpa

Half of today’s tour around Lumbini will be spent. Lumbini has remains of an ancient town and many artifacts have been excavated. The Maya Devi Temple and the Pillar, along with many stupas and monasteries, are some of the significant monuments. The Ashoka Pillar is an Indian Emperor monument and includes an engraving claiming Lumbini as Lord Buddha’s birthplace. There is a Maya Devi rock carving in the temple, the picture portraying Maya Devi giving birth to Lord Buddha while holding onto a tree. You’d then travel to Tansen, Palpa, later in the afternoon, which lasts about three hours. Tansen is a small old hill on the way from Pokhara to Lumbini, 4,300 meters above sea level. The main highlights of Tansen include old people’s religions, outstanding mountain views and a quiet, tranquil environment. On a clear day you can see the mountain peak of Dhaulagiri, the Annapurna Mountain, Mount Manaslu, Gauri Shanker Himal and many other mountain peaks. Tansen is also known for the cloth of Dhaka. The Nepali Topi, Nepal’s national cap is built of Dhaka cloth, and at Tansen you can see weavers working on their bazaars looms. Overnight at hotel, breakfast included.

Day 07 - Palpa – Pokhara, duration: 6 – 7 hours

A trip to Pokhara is going to be completed today after breakfast. The road is full of forest sights and terrace houses brimming with rice and barley vegetation. You’d check in at your hotel upon your arrival at Pokhara. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara, breakfast included.

Day 08 - Sightseeing in Pokhara

You are going to go on a journey to Sarangkot this afternoon. From where you can experience the excellent scenery of the Pokhara Valley and the beautiful sight of the mountains, Sarangkot is the best place of view for a sunrise. Paragliding from Sarangkot can also be performed. We can see Dhaulagiri Himal from Sarangkot in the northern direction, and the Annapurna area is also noticeable when the weather on the same side is clear. The village overlooks the town of Pokhara and its lake on the northwestern periphery of the town in the southern direction. You’ll visit the Bindebasini Temple in the afternoon. This is one of Pokhara’s oldest temples ; Goddess Durgas the main deity of the temple was brought from India. Besides the peace and quiet that can be found in this region, on a clear day, the temple grounds offer a nice view of the Himalayas. The temple is in the bazaar region, so an old bazaar tour can be combined with a temple tour. Then the sightseeing proceeds to Davis Fall, also recognized as Patale Chango- a stunning waterfall located 2 km southwest of Pokhara. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara, breakfast included.

Day 09 - Drive to Nayapul (1,010m), Duration: 1 hours and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,570m), Duration: 3 hours.

Starting from Nayapul after a 1-hour drive from Pokhara, you’ll take a short 15-minute walk along the banks of the Modi River to reach the village of Birethanti (1.015 m). Birethanti is a huge village with lots of stores and lots of tea houses. The path proceeds through the village from there and crosses the Birethanti Khola’s northern bank. The path remains to rise rapidly to Hille at 1,495 meters on the edge of the valley and after a brief ascent you will reach Tikhedhunga located at 1,570 meters above sea level. The walk is fairly quick and easy, a prelude to the Annapurna region’s trekking adventure.

Day 10 - Trek to Ghorepani (2,840m), Duration: 5 hours

Steeply climbing towards Ulleri, we will reach the 2,070 meter altitude. Ulleri is a large Magar village and from this point the trail climbs gently through  oak and rhododendron forests towards Banthanti (2,250 m). Then, at 2,460 meters, you will proceed the trek to Nangethanti. You’ll reach at Ghorepani after an hour’s hike. Ghorepani is a village with many tea houses and huts, and from its area it offers beautiful mountain scenery.

Day 11 - Hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani, Duration: 6 hours

There’s going to be an early morning walk to Poon Hill today. A popular point of view, Poon Hill provides incredible and beautiful views of the Himalayan hills of Annapurna and many of its surrounding hills. The sunrise view amid the Poon Hill hill hills is amazingly lovely! You’ll move to Ghorepani if you spend about an hour at Poon Hill, soak up the sights and take photos. Climbing along hills, you will reach Deurali through pine and rhododendron forests. You will then go down to Banthanti and back to Tadapani. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 12 - Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m), Duration: 3-4 hours

From Tadapani, the route goes down to Ghandruk, a village occupied by Gurung people, through beautiful woodlands. Owning their own language, heritage, tradition, customs and methods – Ghandruk’s people’s lives is distinctive and intriguing to watch. The village is also host to a lot of soldiers from Gorkha. Ghandruk is renowned for its lovely mountain scenery as well as its simple access from Pokhara and Kathmandu, a popular place for trekkers. The Annapurna Conservation Area and monuments can be visited and the village can also be explored. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 13 - Trek to Nayapul (1,010m), Duration: 5-6 hours hike and drive to Pokhara

You’ll drive to Pokhara today at the end of the walk at Nayapul. The road is full of lovely woodland attractions of expansive terraced farmlands with varied rice and barley cultivation. The highway meets the hills of the emerald and the stream of the streams jovial. You can rest in the afternoon after reaching Pokhara and even grab a walk around the lake shore to soothe your body after long drive. Overnight stay at the hotel, breakfast and lunch included.

Day 14 - Pokhara to Kathmandu, 6 hours

Today you will arrive from Pokhara in Kathmandu by private vehicle. And at evening, in a typical Nepali restaurant with a cultural display, you’ll have a wonderful farewell supper. The  portrays the dresses and folk music of traditional Nepali. Overnight stay at the hotel, breakfast and dinner included.

Day 15 - Farewell/Tour Ends

You will be transported to the airport three hours before your scheduled flight by one of the officials from our company, from where you will leave with lovely travel experiences.
