DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU, NEPAL
You will be welcomed by one of the officials of our company upon your arrival. He’ll assist your transfer to your Kathmandu lodging. Today there are no scheduled events, so you can rest and get your bearings at the hotel. Further plans and programs about the journey will also be briefed to you by the official.
Day 02 - Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m/8699ft) Duration: 3 hours
You’re going to fly to Lukla today. For an early plane to Lukla, you will be taken to the airport. The short flight offers excellent mountain peak views. At the brink of Khumbu’s Dudh Koshi River Valley, you will find your journey from Lukla to Phakding, a lovely village. Along the way, you can glimpse the Kusum Kanguru Peak exceptionally. Overnight stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
From Pokhara, we will drive through the big village of Lumle to Nayapul (42 km) by car / taxi and hike to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town for about 20 minutes. The route follows Birethanti’s main road, passing through forests of bamboo and past a big waterfall and swimming hole. The route enters Ramghai, beyond a pasture used by pony caravans, where you will have lunch. The path gradually rises up the side of the valley after lunch, approaching Tikhe Dhunga. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included at the guesthouse.
Day 03 - Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283ft) Duration: 6 hours
We follow the Dudh Koshi, moving upwards to the famous village of Namche Bazaar through the Himalayan pine and cedar forests. Namche Village is a historic trading post where salt, dry meat and textiles are traded by Nepalese and Tibetan traders. Namche remains the main trading post in the Khumbu that draws Himalayan and lowland sellers, in addition to being a marvelous shopping destination for traditional crafts.
For acclimatization, you’ll spend two days at Namche, tour local markets, and spend time with your group. Overnight stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 04 - Namche Bazar and Everest View Hotel
This day is for acclimatization. We will walk to Syangboche Airport (3700 m), which is the world’s highest airport, then proceed to climb to Everest View Hotel for excellent panoramic sights of the Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Tawache etc. On the way back, we tour the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery. Overnight stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 05 - Trek to Tengboche (3860m/12660ft) Duration: 5 hours
The consistent and easy trail takes us to the sights of Mount Everest, going deep into Pungki Thanka’s Dudh Koshi Valley and climbing up to the Tengboche Monastery (3860 m) on the right side of the Dudh Koshi Valley. It is the holy site of the Khumbu. The climb is lengthy, but Mount Amadablam’s beautiful landscapes and the views of Mt. Everest and its adjacent mountains make up for it on a clear day. Overnight stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 06 - Trek to Dingboche (4410m/14464ft) Duration: 5 hours
Descend through a lovely forest, pass the Imja Khola and through the village of Pangboche (3900 m) ; maybe today is the most interesting trip because you will not loose altitude as on other days and you will enjoy views of Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Lhotse & other peaks ; the route goes through grasslands to Dingboche, known as the ‘ summer valley. ‘ Overnight stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 07 - Dingboche to Nagerjun (5100m/16728ft) and return Duration: 6 hours
This is another acclimatization day. You’re going to have a walk up the Nagerjun hill near Dingboche today. The walk uphill is rather strenuous, but due to the panoramic scenery of the vast Imja valley from the top, the effort is worth the trip. Likewise, from there you can also appreciate magnificent views of the Everest peaks, including the Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Everest. You’re going to walk back down after spending some moment at the top point.

Day 08 - Trek to Lobuche (4910m/16105ft) Duration: 5 hours
Trek past the Trekkers Aid Post at Pheriche (4240 m) along a wide valley floor to Dughla. This tour is served by western volunteer doctors and assisted by the Himalayan Rescue Association, which provides trekkers with treatment and consultation services. Continue to climb the valley and gain altitude. We go out to the valley to go down to Lobuche’s yak pastures. Overnight stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 09 - Trek to EBC (5364m/17594ft) & back to Gorekshep (5181m/16994ft) Duration: 8 hours
Look down at the Khumbu lake after a short ascent through meadows. Kalapattar is straight ahead – the finest point of sight to see the complete southern side of Mt. Everest and the neighboring mountains. We will get to Gorekshep after a few hours and proceed our trip to the base camp of Everest. There’s not much increase in elevation, but there’s a number of ups and downs and this can be an exhausting trek coupled with altitude – but it’s worth the trip. You will arrive at the base camp after about 3 hours of trekking and experience a splendid sight of the Khumbu glacier and icefall, where the Everest expeditions start. Overnight stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 10 - Hiking to Kalapattar (5545m/18188ft) - Gorekshep - Pheriche (4210m/13809ft) Duration : 7 hours
The day begins with a hike to Kalapattar (5545 m), the finest view in all its grandeur and the amazing Himalayan range to witness Mount Everest. Then we walk back to Gorekshep for breakfast, then walk down to Pheriche. Overnight stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 11 - Trek to Namche (3440m/11283ft) Duration: 7 hours
Easy stroll along the Imja Khola, short ascent to Tengboche, descent to Pungki Thanka and complete steepness to Kyangjuma, and easier route to Namche. Overnight stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 12 - Trek to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) Duration: 7 hours
The walk proceeds along the Dudh Kosi River to Lukla’s small mountain airstrip, where you will fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 13 - Fly back to Kathmandu
Today, you’ll have a flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla, bidding farewell to the Everest Amazing picturesque flight back to Kathmandu for 30 minutes. Overnight stay at the Hotel. Breakfast included.
Day 14 - Farewell/Departure
You will be transported to the airport three hours before your scheduled flight by one of the officials from our company, from where you will leave with lovely travel experiences. Including breakfast.
