About Everest High Pass Trek

The Everest High Pass Trek allows you to cross in a single trip three elevated mountains in the Everest region, namely Kongma La, Chola Pass and Renjo La Pass. DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU, NEPAL
You will be welcomed by one of the officials of our company upon your arrival. He’ll assist your transfer to your Kathmandu lodging. Today there are no scheduled events, so you can rest and get your bearings at the hotel. Further plans and programs about the journey will also be briefed to you by the official.
Day 02 - Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour
Today you’re going to have a lovely Kathmandu Valley sightseeing trip. The trip involves a visitof the city’s four main UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You’ll tour Pashupatinath’s ancient Hindu temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, Bouddhanath Stupa, and Durbar Square in Kathmandu. You’ll be transferred to your hotel after the trip. Stay overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03 - Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m/8699ft) Duration: 3 hours
You’re going to fly to Lukla today. For an early flight to Lukla, you will be taken to the airport.The short flight offers excellent mountain peak views. At the brink of Khumbu’s Dudh Koshi River Valley, you will find your journey from Lukla to Phakding, a lovely village. Along the way, you can glimpse the Kusum Kanguru Peak exceptionally beautiful. Overnight stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 04 - Trek Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283ft) Duration: 6 hours
We follow the Dudh Koshi climbing to the renowned village of Namche Bazaar through the Himalayan pine and cedar woods. Namche Village is a significant trading post where salt, dry meat and textiles are traded by Nepalese and Tibetan traders. Namche stays the main trading post in the Khumbu that attracts Himalayan and lowland dealers in addition to being a wonderful commercial location for traditional crafts. For acclimatization, you’ll spend two days at Namche, tour local communities, and spend time with your group. We catch our first glimpses of Everest and adjoining mountains on the trek. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 05 - Namche Bazar and Everest View Hotel
This day is especially sectioned for acclimatization. We will hike to Syangboche Airport (3700m), supposed to be the highest airport in the world, then continue climbing to Everest View Hotel for great panoramic views of the Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Tawache etc. On the way back, we visit Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 06 - Trek to Tengboche (3860m/12660ft) Duration: 5 hours
The uniform and easy trail leads us to the view of Mount Everest, descending deep into the Dudh Koshi Valley at Pungki Thanka and ascending from there to the Tengboche Monastery (3860 m) on the right side of the Dudh Koshi Valley. It is the Khumbu’s spiritual hub. The trek is lengthy, but the magnificent scenery of Mount Amadablam and on a clear day, pictures of Mt. Everest and its adjoining mountains are more than relatively balanced. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 07 - Trek to Dingboche (4410m/14464ft) Duration: 5 hours
Through a suspension bride, the trekking path passes the Imja River and shifts towards Dingboche village. The Pangboche village is passed along the way. Dingboche is called the Khumbu’s “Summer Valley” and includes a kilometer-long wall constructed to safeguard the plants of the village from the cold storms coming down the Imja Valley. As the title suggests, Dingboche also gets more sun. Lhotse’s graceful sights, Ama Dablam and Dingboche’s Island Peak are pretty incredible. Day 08 - Trek to Chhukung (4700m/15416 ft) Duration: 2 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 09 - Hiking to Chhukung Ri (5540m/18171ft)
Walking to Chhukung Ri (5540m/18171 ft) and back to Chhukung, 6 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 10 - Trek to Lobuche (4910m/16104 ft) via Kongma La pass (5335m/17498 ft) Duration: 7-8 hours
We begin from Chhukung at first dawn as we must reach today’s greatest point of the journey. We bring plenty of water and some snacks as well as a packed lunch as no tea shops are on the way. We really appreciate the area’s remoteness and beauty!! We can choose to go through any of the feasible paths-either climbing the mountain northwest of Chhukung over the Nuptse Glacier moraine or walking home down the valley to Bibre or following a elevated trail over the Niyang Khola. There are fantastic sights of the Island peak valley and steep Amphu Lapcha mountain just after a few trips.
Ascending along Niyang Khola Valley’s east side; we move west and wander through the sloppy stone trial. We are entering a large basin filled with tiny frozen lakes. After about five hours we abandon Chhukung, the route increases over loose screen reaching the Kongma La. Once we reached the top, we may seen cairn wrapped in prayer flags. The frozen lakes landscape in front of us is the Khumbu Glacier. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 11 - Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m/17594ft) & back to Gorekshep (5181m/16994ft) Duration: 8 hours
Look down at the Khumbu glacier after a short climb through meadows. Kalapattar is straight away – the finest angle of view to see the full southern side of Mt. Everest and the adjacent mountains. We will get to Gorekshep after a few hours and precede our trip to the base camp of Everest. There’s not much gain in elevation, but there’s a lot of ups and downs and this can be an exhausting trek combined with altitude – but it’s worth the journey. After about 3 hours of trekking, you’ll arrive at the base camp and enjoy a magnificent view of the Khumbu glacier and icefall, where the Everest expeditions start. Day 12 - Hiking to Kalapattar (5545m/18188 ft) - Gorekshep and trek to Dzongla (4830m/15840 ft) Duration: 7 hours
The day begins with a hike to Kalapattar (5545m/18188 ft), the finest place to view Mt. Everest and the amazing array of the Himalayas. Then, for a warm breakfast, walk home to Gorekshep and then go down to Dzongla. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 13 - Trek to Dragnak/Thangna (4700m/15415 ft) via crossing Cho La pass (5420m/17780 ft) Duration: 7 hrs
We start the day by going over to Chola-la and down to Thanga again (4700m/15415 ft). Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 14 - Trek to Gokyo lakes (4790m/15710 ft) Duration: 2-3 hours
We walk to Gokyo Lake across the Ngozumpa Glacier (the 36-kilometer long Himalayan glacier). At this juncture, the village of Gokyo lies by the upper lake and Cho-Oyu Mountain as a background displays an incredible dramatic view. You can investigate around the Lake after lunch, Dudh Pokhari. Day 15 - Hiking to Gokyo RI (5483m/19083 ft)and back to Gokyo Lake, duration 3-4 hours
We’ve climbed steeply to the peak of Gokyo Ri this day soon in the evening to receive extensive rewards for one attempt on this journey. There are amazing views of the Gokyo Valley Supper, the massive Ngozumpa Glacier and an incredible panoramic view of the entire Khumbu Himalayas, including giants like Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu (8481 m), Cho-Oyu (8153 m) and Gychung Kang (7922 m). Reward is given to those who discover the glacier and the Gokyo summit. We have to acclimatize this day and return to the camp after noon. Day 16 - Trek to Lunden (4300m/14104 ft) via crossing Renjo La pass (5340m/17843 ft) Duration: 7 hours
The Renjo La Pass junction will be thrilling and complicated as we climb into the distant northern valley where entry is limited and the landscape is gradually that of the Tibetan Valleys beyond the border. There’s a chance that we’ll meet Tibetan traders coming down from the Nangpa La pass that leads from Tibet through the Himalayas with their woolly yak caravans loaded with goods. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 17 - Trek to Thame (3800m/13464ft) Duration: 4 hours
After having breakfast, more incredible ice ranges are trekking down to Thame. On the way to images of an unusual environment, we may reach Tibetan trader encampments. Approximately 150 meters above Thame is a Thame Monastery, a scenic monastery situated among the many monks and lay people’s households. It’s sitting on the edge of a hill overlooking the valley. This is the location for every year’s Mani Rimdu spring festival, organized around mid-May. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 18 - Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283ft) Duration: 4 hrs
After going to Namche bazaar, we proceed our trekking crossing the plain and descend to Thamo’s first resting spot. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 19 - Trek to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) Duration: 7 hours
The walk remains along the Dudh Kosi River to Lukla’s tiny mountain airstrip, where you will fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 20 - Fly back to Kathmandu
Amazing scenic flight back to Kathmandu of 30 minutes. Overnight at Hotel, breakfast included.
Day 21 - Leisure day
Spend the day relaxing or exploring in Kathmandu, as you would like. Overnight at hotel, breakfast included.
Day 22 - Farewell
You will be transported to the airport three hours before your scheduled flight by one of the officials from our company, from where you will leave with lovely travel experiences. Including breakfast.
