About Everest Luxury Trek
Everest Luxury Trek brings you to Nepal’s Everest region and allows you feel like a mountain king. Walk less but enjoy the best treats nature can ever offer. Your journey begins at the Dwarika Hotel with a special welcome ; a five-star hotel with one of the finest art and interiors. At Dwarika’s, you will discover at its finest Nepal’s unique art and culture. You’ll be presented with a picturesque flight to Lukla after having a king class service at Dwarika’s. Our route goes from Lukla to Phakding and then to Namche. We travel from Namche to Tashinga and then to the convent of Tengboche. We migrate to Mende and Thame village after observing the close-up scenery of the Everest region from the Tengboche monastery. And we’re return back to Kathmandu via a flight from Lukla.
In general, lodging in our other Everest region packages is on a twin sharing basis at guesthouses, but in Everest Luxury Trek, you will spend your nights on the finest accommodation in those regions. Even the lodges you’re staying in will offer you the finest mountain views. All you need to do is wake up and open the blinds, the mountains stand before you to offer you a wonderful morning!

DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU, NEPAL
You will be welcomed by one of the officials of our company upon your arrival. He’ll assist your transfer to your Kathmandu lodging. Today there are no scheduled events, so you can rest and get your bearings at the hotel. Further plans and programs about the journey will also be briefed to you by the official.
Day 02- Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m/8699ft) Duration: 3 hours
You’re going to fly to Lukla today. For an early flight to Lukla, you will be taken to the airport.The short flight offers excellent mountain peak views. At the brink of Khumbu’s Dudh Koshi River Valley, you will find your journey from Lukla to Phakding, a lovely village. Along the way, you can glimpse the Kusum Kanguru Peak exceptionally beautiful. Overnight stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
From Pokhara, we will drive through the big village of Lumle to Nayapul (42 km) by car / taxi and hike to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town for about 20 minutes. The route follows Birethanti’s main road, passing through forests of bamboo and past a big waterfall and swimming hole. The route enters Ramghai, beyond a pasture used by pony caravans, where you will have lunch. The path gradually rises up the side of the valley after lunch, approaching Tikhe Dhunga. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included at the guesthouse.
Day 03 - Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283) Walking Distance - 10 to 12 km, Duration: 6 hours
You will cross the road from Phakding that will bring you to Monjo, where the gateway to the Sagarmatha National Park is located. From here, the area is surrounded by dense pine and rhododendron woodland. Following the path, you will walk along the route, like Tok Tok and Jorsale, through small villages. Cross a suspension bridge across the Dudh Koshi River and walk uphill to Namche Bazaar, the famous Himalayan town. Overnight stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 04 - Namche to Tashinga (3450m) Duration: 2-3 hrs
Today, the route to Tashinga is much more exciting as we are going to cross many flags of prayer and mani stones and chortens. We take a spectacular trail that runs high above the Dudh Koshi River around the hillside. Following the classic approach path to Everest for about 2.5 hours through twisting path we reach Tashinga for the next night’s stay. Overnight at Everest Summit Lodge, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 05 - Day Excursion to Tengboche Monastery (3860m/12660ft) Duration: 6-7 hrs
From the lodge across the valley, you can see the path going diagonally up to the renowned Tengboche monastery. The day starts with a descent to Phunki Tenga’s tiny village next to the Dudh Kosi. From here we pass a suspension bridge for about an hour before starting a long climb. Rhododendron and pine forest this section of the hike, so it’s well lit and refreshing. Once out of the forest, for another 1.5 hours, the path becomes smooth and gradual, all the route up to the monastery. Tengboche’s environment is magical and it’s amazing to believe the temple was burnt down a few years earlier and reconstructed mainly through the Sir Edmund Hillary Trust’s efforts. After lunch, return to our lodge and explore the monastery and its environment. Overnight at Everest Summit Lodge, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 06 - Tashinga to Mende (3500m/11480ft) Duration: 4-5 hrs
After breakfast, start walking downward to Khumjung village’s hidden valley. The trail goes smoothly up the shallow valley to Khumjung, Khumbu’s educational centre, visiting Khumjung monastery and Kunde hospital. We continue to Mende Village where we stay overnight and the rest of the time enjoy touring the neighboring areas. The lodge offers the most stunning scenery of the neighboring mountains such as Kongde Ri, Thamserku, Kang Taiga, Kusum Kangru and Khumbila. Mende has an incredible feeling of tranquility and harmony with a monastery and a few monks as residents throughout the year. Overnight at Everest Summit Lodge, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 07 - Day Excursion to Thame village
We’re going to have Thame village tour today! This village is at the end of the Khumbu Valley and Thame’s famous significance is its land of people untouched by modern civilization’s influences. This village called Snow Leopard Village and we spend time to tour the tiny but beautiful Karag Monastery close to Thamo on our way back to Mende. Return to Mende after a tired walk to spend another night. Overnight at Everest Summit Lodge, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 08 - Mende to Phakding (2652m/8699ft) Duration: 5-6 hrs
We descend to Namche Bazaar this morning after a wonderful Himalayan view at Mende and lastly to Phakding. We’re going back to Phakding after lunch at Namche. Before Phakding arrives, we will wander through rhododendron and pine trees with a viewpoint of range snow coated mountains.
Day 09 - Phakding to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) Duration: 3 hrs
We walk back to Lukla from Phakding. It is a lovely and simple trek through the blue pine and rhododendron forest with Kusum Kangaru views back-dropped. Confirm your ticket, appreciate the local market and glance deeply in traditional customs and lifestyle. Enjoy your crew member’s last celebration dinner and stay tonight at the hotel. Overnight at Yeti Mountain Home, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 10 - Fly back to Kathmandu
Bidding farewell to the mountains with a 30-minutes amazing scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arriving back at Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 11 - Tour Ends/Farewell
You will be transported to the airport three hours before your scheduled flight by one of the officials from our company, from where you will leave with lovely travel experiences. Including breakfast.
