Fewa Lake

The gorgeous Fewa lake is a complimentary name to remember when we visit the scenic town of Pokhara. Decorated with colorful boats, coffee shops and books shops ; Fewa Lake is an attractive and pleasant place to spend time. It is intriguing owing to its wonderful landscapes of the Annapurna Massif and the view of Mt. Fishtail in the undisturbed waters of the lake. You can do boating on the Fewa river and tour the temple Barahi.

David’s fall

Moving forward, we tour a famous waterfall on a highway that brings us to Tansen, about 2 kilometers southwest of Pokhara. In the past, David, a foreigner, had accidentally fallen in an underwater cave underneath the Phardi Khola while he was swimming. The waterfall has been labeled as the fall of David since then. The waterfall appears wonderful and is an appeal for many Pokhara visitors.

Gupteshwor Temple

Next is our destination a secret cave near the amazing David’s fall. The cave is obscure in the way that it retains Lord Shiva’s phallic structure called Shivalinga and maintains a strong importance among Hindu pilgrims. It is popularly regarded as the Gupteshwor temple, like the Shivalinga li in the cave, and the cave is renowned as the Gupteshwor Gupha. This site is visited with great significance by many Hindu pilgrims around the globe.

International Mountaineering Museum

The International Mountaineering Museum is an attractive museum located in a entrance to the trekking path that leads to Nepal’s Annapurna region. The museum lists the list of all successful trekkers trying to reach mountains above eight thousand meters. It also records all the significant natural activities within the Annapurna region and retains a register of distinctive flora and fauna seen within Annapurna Conservation. Lying on Mt. Macchapuchhre’s foundation, the park is constructed in a unique way. The center is constructed in a mountain form. The museum’s roof is similar to the mountain peak.
